Who is responsible
The data controller is Mihaela Sîncu, an individual based in Romania, email sinsailingart@gmail.com.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address and country, collected by the payment processor Stripe to take payment and deliver your file. Card details stay with the processor.
- When you write to us: your email address and message, so we can reply.
- When you subscribe to news: your email address, so we can send you occasional news about new books and editions. The form is hosted by Netlify (our website host), and the subscriber list may be moved to an email service such as MailerLite.
Why, and on what basis
To perform the sales contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to keep records required by tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). For news emails, the basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
How long we keep it
Sales records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Messages, for up to 2 years. Your newsletter address, until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
sinsailingart.com uses no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are hosted on this site, so nothing loads from third parties while you browse. The payment processor's checkout page has its own rules, shown there.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing by writing to sinsailingart@gmail.com. You can also complain to your national data protection authority; in Romania, ANSPDCP.
